I was just looking through a wand discography and it has ernie hines listed as #1150. It's one of the USA titles. Does anyone know if this exists?

It would be cool to get for the hard titles (such as the honey bees) a confirmed / denied listing on some of the titles. Also, assuming that these numbers came out of the actual label catalog (e.g. if they were never actually released the numbers had to come from some file or someting), why are there missing numbers? Thakns.

There are a nuimber which were given release numbers, but which as far as we can tell never came out. It's always possible that they got pressed and destroyed, but no one has ever seen copies. Ernie Hines, Honey Bees and Just Brothers are three examples. Then there's the odd one which isn't in the official discographies, but which did sneak out like J Kelly & Premiers.

Thanks. But that's sort of what I was asking about the release numbers -- where is that info coming from, is it from the actual label records? If so, how come there are holes where people don't know some of the numbers. Thanks.

All of the lists originated from Stak O wax. I know that because all the other lists have the same mistakes / typos etc in them.
