Guest TONY ROUNCE
could write a page on these ,but one outstanding personal fave is "jerry fuller" turn to me..on challenge (other side of double life) Funnily enough this is my favourite record of the moment - although I'd classify it more as a beat ballad than a 'regular' one. To my eternal shame I have owned a copy of "Double Life" for more than 30 years, and I only thought to turn it over recently while researching repertoire for the Jerry Fuller CD that I've just done for Ace. I can't believe that I'd been depriving myself of its brilliance for nearly four decades... Also love Jerry's other beat ballads "I Get Carried Away" and "Whatever Happened To The Music", both of which I have known longer than a fortnight, of course....
