Andy, locals speak of this niter, Franny O'Brien and John Bollan (both Skipton old boys), featured on the strange world of northern soul. It later went up in flames........as well you know. PM me I have there phone numbers. Forget Julian Bentley.

Steve "Brad" Bradley was also a member, I've been talking to another member precisely abut this.

Is this Brad from Colne? - if so, used to see him alot around the clubs AND at Bradford Market's warehouse!! ( well, the big warehouse not the little one with all the individual 45S :D )

Yes the very same Brad and still in Colne, was out with him 2 weeks ago.

I used to go, but I was very young 12 or 13...so we used to get slung out around midnight when the big lads came in....

Hei Andy - Harrisons Hoist All Nighter Earby 1967 - was it still Stax, Motown sounds being played or was it already breaking into up tempo Northern ?

I have been trying to workout where & when the first ever Northern Soul AllNighter was held, bearing in mind that the Twisted Wheel preceded Northern Soul.

Thanks - scobie :D:g:
