Dave Abbott Posted September 2, 2008 Posted September 2, 2008 wonder if that price will bring another copy or 2 out onto ebay ? doubt it. I can only remember one other recently (of course i don't go looking, so there may be lots more)... and that was from Shifty that he put on Ebay about 6 or 7 years ago. Not in such good condition as this one and it went for about $6k - a sort of 45 record, record, at the time on Ebay...so in the scheme of things - it hasn't risen in price much.....
Harrogatesoul Posted September 2, 2008 Posted September 2, 2008 I knew I was right Joan... Mint LaBeat 45s though... Did I hear right a lot of the stock got damaged in a flood or something similar? Rich
Chalky Posted September 2, 2008 Posted September 2, 2008 I knew I was right Joan... Mint LaBeat 45s though... Did I hear right a lot of the stock got damaged in a flood or something similar? Rich Martin Koppel (and JA I think) left loads of stock in a foot or two of water in Lou Beaty's basement, many with no labels cause of the water. Wonder how many Lester Tipton's and Al Williams there was with no lables.

A record of this class should not be played out other than on LA-BEAT by those who have it,keeps it fresh, next thing you know they'll be playing SALVADORS pressings atb tezza
