Guest ScooterNik Posted August 21, 2008 Posted August 21, 2008 I'm not aware of anything else they did under either guise. That's an interseting theory about the Police conection, never thought about it before, just thought it as a daft name!! Hey boy - hey girl / John Fuzz - SPQR 1107 gary Thats the one. And its bloody awful too, dragged it out last night to refresh my memory. Now I know why I've not listened to it in years! Erm.. anyone want to take it off my hands? Its actually very good
Denbo Posted August 21, 2008 Posted August 21, 2008 What is the most bizarre group/artist name in soul you have come across? In Sales at the moment is 'The Three Heads' What were they thinking? Can you give us any beauties? One of my favourites has always been Dicky Do & The Dont's

Guest WPaulVanDyk Posted August 21, 2008 Posted August 21, 2008 Moses Smith i mean smith is a wonderful last name but when asked what's his first name Moses you have to laugh Black Eyed Peas too and given the fact if you ask anyone they will refer to the Rap group of the same name what about Mr Floods Party Sugar Billy cause last name is ok but first name who would think of it and it was the song Super Duper Love he did which Joss Stone covered

In fact the opposite is pretty interesting too, think of : Fred Smith - Mirwood/Keymen, etc Arthur Wright - Just about everything in Northern Soul They both sound like "Sid the Storemen"
