Garethx Posted August 19, 2008 Posted August 19, 2008 981 Eddie "Forehand" Buster But I Do I'm So Lonely & 998 Jay Dee Bryant Let Me Fix It For You You Don't Know Are very decent deep soul ballads if you're that way inclined. Guest Posted August 21, 2008 Posted August 21, 2008 This is the best one IMO brilliant record agree, along with Grover Mitchell i think this came out twice on the demo? i'm led to believe this is the first release demo
Agent45 Posted August 22, 2008 Posted August 22, 2008 agree, along with Grover Mitchell i think this came out twice on the demo? i'm led to believe this is the first release demo This one, like quite a few Josie titles, was licensed from a local label. The Truetones first appeared on the Soulville label out of Atlanta (not to be confused with the Pennsylvania-based Soulville label). I think the Truetones might have been based in either South or North Carolina, however.

Are they definitely not from DC? I also have a michael hunter and the truetones on carrie but it's the nashville distributed carrie and says recorded in nashville and there are no common names (it just says james hendrix).
