Nick Hackett Posted August 17, 2008 Posted August 17, 2008 If any help..You can buy all the handles,hinges locks etc from Maplins Electrical Shop and give it a go making one yourself...or get a chippy to make one. Carl Fortnum was the main man for dj boxes with a Lovely finish..oooh errgh.

Yes you can, it's not that hard, but it takes time and it will cost you more than buying one... I've made a couple using plywood covered with mahogany (don't know if this is the right word in English).

Paul Shirley Posted August 20, 2008 Posted August 20, 2008 yes they are fine looking record boxes thats for sure . i had a go at making a flight case for my amp but went shoping in b&q for the parts . wrong every thing total disaster threw it all in the bin .
