Mattfox Posted August 16, 2008 Posted August 16, 2008 (edited) hi, I decided to start a new topic... (cause my "modern soul" one is running very well thanks for all the great recommendations!!!) my idea is: if there would be a documentry about your own life (in some cases it would be great fun to watch, wouldn't it?) & you had to compile the The Soul Of My Life (Soundtrack) which choons would be the ones that influenced you (to do the way you did)? what choons express yourself or maybe your thoughts, dreams ... sometimes things in our lifes flow not really smoothly and we need some choons to listen to in order to go on... and so on... it's about listing all the important songs that made you the guy/girl you are today - doesn't matter what kinda soulful songs you choose - northern (beat/mod sounds also accepted , x-over, southern, modern, nu-soul, funk, jazz - it's up to you...but please: no metal or hard'n'heavy sounds might be a great reflection of our soulful lifes... hope you like this topic...cheers, matt fox Edited August 17, 2008 by matt fox
Jumpinjoan Posted August 16, 2008 Posted August 16, 2008 I'd like it a bit better if it was about the tunes that made you the guy or girl you are today!
Mattfox Posted August 16, 2008 Author Posted August 16, 2008 (edited) The Soul Of My Life (OST) by Matt Fox looks like my life would be a romantic movie ... incl. a happy end! Playlist: Chosen Few - Birth Of A Playboy Timeless Legend - I Was Born To Love You Invitations - Look On The Good Side Sidney Joe Qualls - I'll Run To Your Side Moses Smith - Come On Let Me Love You Honey & The Bees - Make Love To Me Newcomers - Too Little in Common Phenomenons - Without Your Love Loleatta Holloway - Cry To Me Billy Miranda - Count Your Teardrops Sy Hightower - I Know You're Leaving Me Hamilton Movement - She's Gone Billy Butler - Alone At Last Sam Dees - Just Out Of My Reach Anna King - That's When I Cry True Movement - Depression James Carr - Dark End Of The Street Bobby Paris - Night Owl Lou Johnson - Walk On By Jerry Butler - Can't Forget About You, Baby Strutt - Said You Didn't Love Him Alice Clark - Never Did I Stop Loving You Lost Family - Blow My Mind Bobby Patterson - I Get My Groove From You Collins & Collins - Top Of The Stairs Four Below Zero - My Baby's Got E.S.P. Lou Ragland - Since You Said You'd Be Mine We The People - Making My Daydream Real Leon Collins - I Just Wanna Say I love You Solaris - You And Me Larry Davis - Satisfaction Guaranteed Soul Generation - Super Fine ok. wanna be honest: after realizing that most of my choons that have influenced my life are "love songs" I tried to tell a love story by compiling great soul choons...and it seems I have to publish my soundtrack as a "Double (!!!) CD" ... now I only have to release the movie... Edited August 17, 2008 by matt fox
