Looking for some information on this record

Looked it up in John M's guide

It's on SOUND TRAP out of Richmond Virginia

Any ideas-opinions welcome

Hi John,

Like you say, the "Good By my Love" side is a good up tempo sound, I think it's great. It has an interesting echo sound effect to it. The only down side to it is it's a real small budget label/recording, very low-fi, so expect to turn the volume up when you play it out.

Have you got one? or looking for one?

HI Ady

No ..got one...was really interested as JM had listed it as Group which seems a bit bizarre as it is out and out rare northern

Played it out at Soulsville in Leeds

As you say--Lo-FI....that to me makes it northern soul magic...done on a shoestring and sounding great

Ah, gotcha.

Did it sound good loud? Would love to hear how it sounds in a big hall, got a feeling it could be good.

1 Detroit 2 Chicago and 1 Virginia.

The was also a Magnetics at Motown in the early 60's, but they were a girl group.

Thanks Dave I was presuming the Ra-Sel was from Chicago.

Out of curiosity are there any stamps in the dead wax on I Have a Girl or is it just scratched in.
