I really love Doris Duke "Please come back" which is the other side of "Grasshopper". I think it is a Contempo production as opposed to Jerry Williams. A real over the top production with strings but works for me. Love the Major Lance record mentioned as well as "How can I be sure" ? a cover of Sydney Joe Qualls, great version. Agree with Sweet Sherry, and having Rare Stamps since the early 70's, I have always been a fan of Baby Please Come Home which also came out on Contempo. Sure I read somewhere that 'Sweet Sherry' from the Volt/Stax l.p is the first take and differs slightly from the UK Contempo 45. Anyone confirm this?
