Been playing this one recently...Good tune but not 100% on value although you don't see it around much these days.

THANKS - ANYBODY ELSE KNOW?

I tried to persuade the guy I'm selling a copy for here that it was probably about £80 tops...against that advice he told me to put £100 on it...still there so maybe it is too much

You'd be pushed to sell that for more than £75 Jason, sometimes seen it for £50. Nice tune tho'.

Yeah, I think initally I said it was around £60 (as opposed to £150 on the initial price)...got it down to £100 but said I thought £80 was more like the top end. Not my records though so i can only do what the seller asks.

was not a fashionable record and i picked up a couple of copies on ebay for £20/25 mark

a couple of years ago atfter originally giving dave raistrick £60 5 years ago for it. to be honest i havent seen one since. then suddenly it was on ian clarks list at £175  . and its on the lifeline

playlists so it could and should be having its day. a great record and not common

Another good record by Chocolate Syrup is called "The Goodness Of Love" - IRA Records, and used to get played in the Northwest in the 70's. The IRA copy is about £70. It later also came out on AVCO which is cheaper.

I just sold a copy for 60 UKP, great record that maybe will rise in price, I agree it's not seen very often.

This isn't as easy as some folks make out imho?

I've always looked to pick this up BUT have only had a couple in the last 15 years and sold them both for £75 each.

btw I first heard it via Flanny who played it at the 'On the real side' 70's nights at The Saints in the early 90's, although it sounds like it should (or could) have been a 'last hour' Mecca spin.............maybe Epic can confirm or deny this one? We've played it a few times at Th'Orwell over the years too! Glad it's coming round again as it's a lovely 70's dancer :D

Cheers
