Guest andrew bin Posted July 25, 2008 Posted July 25, 2008 i was driving around the country lanes between Chepstow and Monmouth today (setting up a diversion for a road closer) when i came across a pub that had sign written on a black board saying " Sunday 60's soul and Tamala Motown disco free admission free burgers and hot dogs" how bizarre is that, it was a lovely little country pub in the middle of nowhere (well near Tintern) it would be rude not to go i even took a photo of the sign to prove i wasn't seeing things
Tomangoes Posted July 30, 2008 Posted July 30, 2008 Working in Delhi back in 95, and walked in a hotel bar to hear a group singing 'More today than Yesterday' -SS. Made my day. Ed
gazman Posted July 31, 2008 Posted July 31, 2008 I was in TK Maxx in Livingston last night with my wife and heard Johnny Moore - Thank you baby being played over the speakers. I left her to wander and I stood under a speaker and listened to it with a smile. Drew some curious looks from the staff. gary
