I tought it was around the 350£, been asked 700£ ohmy.gif

Maybe it became bigger in the last period? A couple of people suggested me to pay around 300£, so I was a bit surprised.

Don't want to polemize, I could easily be wrong, just want to know the price to buy it in the future (hopefully!!)

Thanks

Tommaso

I reckon you're not too far out Mate as far as true value is concerned. Seen a few at 700 and walked away. Go back later....still there. I'd pay 350 for MINTER and have had that offer turned down a couple of times. No dramas....I'll wait a few years and pick it for even less. Plenty more to keep me hunting/going until then.

I paid 175 UKP for an Ex copy maybe three years ago if that is of any help to you.

Marc

I'd pay twice that but can't find one

PM me if interested in a swap or in selling it Marc!

Thanks anyway :D

three years is a long time in terms collecting rare soul. a lot has happened in that time. we bought ours from ebay a couple or three years ago

for about the same as marc but i cant recall seeing one since. i thought it was worth around the 4/500 mark. but in this day who knows........

incidentally the flip `am i losing you` a cover of jimmy delphs is a brillant slab of crossover and deserves to be played too IMVHO

It was played upstairs at Cleethorpes on Saturday night, and maybe at last Lifeline I djed at too, pass me my trumpet!!!

Don't suppose anyone wants to hear I bought it for about £8 of Soul Bowl slightly more than 3 years ago. At time we were sure it was Japanese re-release after it appearing on one of the Solid Smoke LP's as unreleased.

It does look incredibly new and a number of copies were found in Japan..............................

Would someone be kind enough to post a scan of the label up plase.

I've got it listed twice on the SKM discog

Karen 1551 - Ain't Gonna Give You Up / Am I Losing You - 1970

Karen 101 - Ain't Gonna Give You Up / Am I Losing You - ?

and it would be nice to sort out whether there are two releases, or whether both numbers appear on the same label.

Hi Dave

Both those numbers are on the 45 - if you see Dave Fleming's scan above - the release number is 1551 with each side designated K100/K101. This is the same as my copy too!

I'm presuming it only came out the once BUT don't have any paperwork with me at the moment and can only check when i get home later?

Hope this helps?

Jock me old mate, you played Am I Losing You at Yarmouth as well.Do you need some new tunes?

Seriously though as good as it is i much prefer Jimmy Delphs version.Got a bit more to it.See you soon as you seem to be avoiding Creative like the plague.

It did sound good at Yarmouth Jock, as did all your set on Saturday afternoon imho thumbsup.gif

I do like the slightly funky edge to the song (love JD version too of course!)

Cheers

I'd be very surprised if it did come out twice, especially as both numbers are on the label anyway.

Cheers anyway, Dave Fleming's scan gave me the amswer I needed.
