Guest Posted March 2, 2004 Posted March 2, 2004 ANYBODY KNOW A SITE WHERE I CAN HEAR BURT BACHARACH 'MY LITTLE RED BOOK'?
Mike Posted March 2, 2004 Posted March 2, 2004 mr guest may be listed under tony middleton as he was the actual singer, think 45 gives main credit to b b with tony m possibly getting a in brackets mention if no joy, slight chance may find a clip via a soundtrack album, as was featured in whats new pussycat film
grant Posted March 3, 2004 Posted March 3, 2004 mikes right, seen it recently for sale in pic cover. "Whats New Pussycat" is the a-side.Credited to BB. Remember Richard Domar flogging this as 'awesome' for £40 on London I think way back in 1989/90 on his lists. Never heard oit either myself. Any good, cos it always comes up on e-bay for sale. Grant
slimharpo Posted March 19, 2004 Posted March 19, 2004 As much as it sticks in my throat to say this I think Domar was right in his description. It is a fantastic track with Tony Middleton singing at his best in my opinion. Plus a great backing from BB who did many Northern Soul tracks particularly for Lou Johnson. Cheers, Slim
