it's a much better version (in my opinion) much faster,

but hav'nt managed to find a copy on vinyl,

anyone know anything about the song, cant find anything online.

As someone has already stated this is the version available on Jay Boy. It's credited on the label to "Bob & Earl" (as is the original version), but I always refer to it as the Jackie Lee version. The late, great Jackie Lee who sadly departed the scene last Saturday, was a one time member of the "Bob & Earl" duo.

Jackie Lee is Earl Nelson, no?

and Bob was originally Bobby Byrd/Day (the Hollywood Flames Bobby Byrd, not the JB one) then Bobby Relf/Garrett by the time of Harlem Shuffle
