Maark Posted July 13, 2008 Posted July 13, 2008 Bought a signed Falcons CD, from the band personally when they played their one and only UK gig at Northampton a couple of years ago. They were excellent live and blown away by the reception they got. The CD is much treasured even though admittedly, I don't like most of the tracks on it!
Dave Rimmer Posted July 13, 2008 Posted July 13, 2008 Any chance of a bigger picture, or at least some more details of what's on the CD
Chalky Posted July 13, 2008 Posted July 13, 2008 I'm in the process of doing a review of the cd for Soul Junction. It features the period in the Falcons history that featured Sonny Munro: the Lupine & Big Wheel recordings plus some Sonny Munro solo outings and some unissued stuff from the Falcons and Sonny Munro.

Mark Bicknell Posted July 14, 2008 Posted July 14, 2008 LOOKS WORTHWHILE BUT WHY HASNT ANYONE MENTIONED IT ON HERE HOW MANY OTHER CDS ARE SLIPPING THROGH WITHOUT A MENTION ON HERE I only recieved the three promo copies from Dave Welding this week, the official release date was July 7th, Dave does come on here so I thought he would have posted up the information? guess he must be busy or on holiday or something, I think it's up to the record companies to perhaps inform and promote their releases but you are correct perhaps we should keep our finger on the pulse a little better if nothing else to let everyone know that this stuff is out there, I make a point of reviewing, previewing and playing as much as I can via the likes of Ace/Kent etc. via the show so try to do my bit if I can, maybe Mike should get someone to review/preview stuff on Soul Source which I'm sure would help the companies out. Regards - Mark Bicknell.

Gladly accepted and was given a copy at Lifeline, hopefully the review will be done very soon.
