Hi all

have a choon i can't identify ,but it's buggin me

Never been good at remembering the words to any song but these lyrics are going over and over so here goes...

"OLD TIME LOVER IS BACK IN TOWN" Female vocal (60's)

Would have to say this is prob a big dancefloor choon and well known but not heard it fo a long time .

As far as I know it's a Butch play covered up as Mary Jean Love. Other side is 'That's how the story goes' but not sure if this is the title.

Definitely sounds like Butch's one off - think it's actually covered as Martha Jean Love. Fantastic tune! Butch plays another one off that's a very similar sound - came off Shifty and is covered as Clara Hardy "If I ever loved anyone". If you like Martah Jean Love you'll love that too.

Tune and a half, not many of these to the pound, I think it sounds a bit Phily like Merben or East Coast thrusting girlie stomper powered by the drums with that haunting Melatron organ.

It's probably from Basildon an unissued Cilla Black song. :lol:
