Godzilla Posted July 11, 2008 Posted July 11, 2008 I'm going to list a bunch of 45s in the sales section tomorrow morning (gotta get drunk with pals tonight). There will be about 40 soul funk and jazz items. I'm ok with most of it but I'm happy to admit I'm useless at keeping up with what's in and what's out 70s wise, so if anyone could advise on these I'd be very grateful. If you can give an idea of mint value I can then price according to condition. Cheers guys UK 7s Archie Bell & Drells - Where Will You Go When The Party's Over PIR Issue Black Ivory - What goes Around - Kwanza Issue Impressions - First Impressions - Curtom Issue Major Lance - Don't You Know I Love You - Contempo Issue Sons of Robin Stone - Got To Get You Back - Atlantic Issue Sons of Robin Stone - Got To Get You Back - Atlantic Demo UK 12 James Wells - baby I'm Still The Same Man (long version) Polydor Promo US Trammps - Trusting Heart - Golden Fleece Issue Ta in advance Godz

Black Ivory - What goes Around - Kwanza Issue £3 Trammps - Trusting Heart - Golden Fleece Issue £3 And the Sons of Robin Stone I've seen sell for £5 but do see it listed for £15 As I say I know these would be well below book value.... ps ..... enjoy your drinks! Guest Posted July 11, 2008 Posted July 11, 2008 The Major Lance is UK only and was fetching almost £50 a few months back, think demand has slowed a little but would still expect to get £30-£40 for it. Adam.

Adam. Cheers Adrian and Adam. Major has a sticker on the flip so i was thinking of sticking 25 on it whcih doesn't seem far out. Is the Archie Bell UK only as well? I was guessing about the same for that but wasn't too sure. Paul Edited July 11, 2008 by Godzilla

Godzilla Posted July 11, 2008 Author Posted July 11, 2008 Long version of James Wells on the flip of the UK 7 too, sorry Godz Cheers Paul Hey - no need to be sorry mate. I only added that cos that's what it says on the label . I wasn't suggesting any of these were particularly rare either, just didn't want to stick £10 on a £1 record or vice versa.
Benji Posted July 11, 2008 Posted July 11, 2008 Impressions - First Impressions - Curtom Issue Sons of Robin Stone - Got To Get You Back - Atlantic Issue Sons of Robin Stone - Got To Get You Back - Atlantic Demo I put the Impressions for 6 quid on here but no takers . I'd be interested in one of Sons of Robin Stone. Could you drop me a PM once you've decided on prices?
Soul Shrews Posted July 11, 2008 Posted July 11, 2008 Just seen Sons Of Robin Stone in the sales here @ 20 quid Cheers Paul

Actually the 12" isn't that easy to get only came out as a promo, one of my all time fav things from Ian, not everyone's cup of tea, but always rammed the floor at The Ritz. Dave
