Just wondering if anyone out there can help...

Been offered an EX (sound-wise), VG label (has writing on both label sides) copy of Little Junior Lewis "Your Heart Must Be Made Of Stone" on Fury (Fury 1040).

Comments invited and appreciated regards whether this is fair money for this sound.

Thanks in anticipation....

Ed

no idea, just picked up a NM one for 7 quid at a fair the other week from someone having a clearout so that's probably not much help... nice track though, i love the way the reverb on the vocal comes and goes. does Mace post here? heard it via a swap CD of his, he may have a better idea

 Cheers Michael - you got a great buy there for £7!!! I 've just been loaned a few 45s by a dealer mate, which include this sound, to play through first to see if I like 'em, hence my enquiry. This doesn't seem to be an over common record so the price might well reflect this. Have a few Lee Dorsey tracks on the same label though.

Hopefully someone else may be able to offer an opinion.....

Regards

yeah, only seems to get a few matches from Google for this 45, and one of them is me! if you like it, go for it...

talking of Fury, am after a Du Mauriers 'All Night Long', should only be a cheapie i think, but not seen one for a year or two... now's when i notice my ebay search is misspelt - has happened before ("blimey, this record's a rare one, never been on ebay for at least 2 years... oh... d'oh!")
