I always thought that Otis Redding, his brother Noel, the Temptations, the Platters and Jimi Hendrix where all in the Supremes along with Betty Swann and that I Can't Help Myself by the Supremes was only ever 'covered up' as The Krankies! I forget who played on the bongos Diana Ross springs to mind. Otis came over to the UK in 1961 and formed a tender relationship with Bernard Cribbins and played the spoons on the famous My Old Man's A Dustman.
