Adam. yes, sweet soul collectors have always known about it as far as I know but I've seen some northern people start to bid on it (I don't know why, maybe just because tempos are slowing down people are broadening their interests???). I think you could get at least $150 for it but maybe more. that's what it's been going around on ebay recently, and it still doesn't come up for sale a lot (again, it used to be available, I guess it dried up). The type of record that might go up if it becomes more known, or might go down if people don't know and lose interest? it's a nice record.

I think that as northern collectors & DJs keep hunting out 'new' sounds they will start picking up on sweet/group soul stuff especially if the flips are slightly up tempo. Most will never crossover to the northern scene but I guess that some will and as usual in the northern scene the price of those will jump. This one is pretty good and may well have it's day with northern DJs?? Anyway, good record but not the sort of thing I usually keep in my collection. Think I'll hang onto it though as a 'trader' in case Icome across any sweet soul collectors who are looking for it. Thanks again Bob, Adam.
Them Posted July 6, 2008 Posted July 6, 2008 Popular on Nippy sweet soul scene over years. Both sides very good and nice tenor by the way!
