just found a copy of bottom one on pat brady's sales listed as "very rare yellow promo" £75

i also didn't know it was done twice. do they do this on purpose to confuse us, cause it works on me. or maybe i'm a bit thick.huh.gif

DTIOOTW was 55330 so could be 1st and 2nd issue when the DTIOOTW caught on so as to catch more sales?.

possibilly but why put "for record no.55367" at the bottom of 78025 copy and not just print using original number.

Not sure on this but didn't Brunswick start using a 7 in front of cat nos to indicate a record was in stereo? Although I suppose that doesn't help much as it would then be 755367....just thinking aloud!

DTIOOTW didn't catch on at all, it's a really tough stock copy. I think Adam is correct.

maybe i should also have added that 78025 is the same both sides while 55367 has different "B" side just to try to confuse the matter some more

run out stamp reads 45 119817 3 on 78025 copy

I have the 9-78025 yellow demo. it has "You Are The One I Love" on both sides, but the matrix is 45 119817 1 on one side and 45 119817 2 on the other side

Have a Canadian issue on 55367 and the B side is 'A Stop Along The Way' so I guess that's what's on the other side of the US demo

just checked again mine ends 2 on one side and 3 on the other, although it is hard to make out on 2 side as "mick g (oldham)" decided that would be a good place to scratch in his name and town.

Be interesting to see if there's any difference between the 1, 2 & 3

i take it this thread is about you are the one i love and nothing to do with

dont take it out on this world.YATOIL was issued in feb 1968 and they tried their best to

made a hit out of it therefore releasing a double sided demo as well as a normal demo to give it that bit of a push. just like barbara acklin and jackie wilson at around the same time.the follow up

DTIOOTW in may 1968 sank without trace and the rest as they say is northern soul history
