Guest Gogs Posted July 4, 2008 Posted July 4, 2008 (edited) just found a copy of bottom one on pat brady's sales listed as "very rare yellow promo" £75 i also didn't know it was done twice. do they do this on purpose to confuse us, cause it works on me. or maybe i'm a bit thick. Prophonics 2029 Posted July 4, 2008 Posted July 4, 2008 DTIOOTW was 55330 so could be 1st and 2nd issue when the DTIOOTW caught on so as to catch more sales?.
Guest Gogs Posted July 4, 2008 Posted July 4, 2008 DTIOOTW was 55330 so could be 1st and 2nd issue when the DTIOOTW caught on so as to catch more sales?. possibilly but why put "for record no.55367" at the bottom of 78025 copy and not just print using original number.
Guest Posted July 4, 2008 Posted July 4, 2008 possibilly but why put "for record no.55367" at the bottom of 78025 copy and not just print using original number. Not sure on this but didn't Brunswick start using a 7 in front of cat nos to indicate a record was in stereo? Although I suppose that doesn't help much as it would then be 755367....just thinking aloud! Adam.
Pete S Posted July 4, 2008 Posted July 4, 2008 DTIOOTW was 55330 so could be 1st and 2nd issue when the DTIOOTW caught on so as to catch more sales?. DTIOOTW didn't catch on at all, it's a really tough stock copy. I think Adam is correct.
Guest Gogs Posted July 4, 2008 Posted July 4, 2008 (edited) maybe i should also have added that 78025 is the same both sides while 55367 has different "B" side just to try to confuse the matter some more run out stamp reads 45 119817 3 on 78025 copy Edited July 4, 2008 by Gogs

Kjw Posted July 5, 2008 Posted July 5, 2008 Have a Canadian issue on 55367 and the B side is 'A Stop Along The Way' so I guess that's what's on the other side of the US demo
