Pete S Posted July 2, 2008 Posted July 2, 2008 Popsike shows these 2 records I think they are boots but I cant see an R in the F-705 but the dead wax is to big. one on the left is a boot
Prophonics 2029 Posted July 2, 2008 Author Posted July 2, 2008 one on the left is a boot Your left or my left
Pete S Posted July 2, 2008 Posted July 2, 2008 Your left or my left My left is the same as your left unless you're looking at the pc screen through a mirror
Prophonics 2029 Posted July 2, 2008 Author Posted July 2, 2008 Ok I will put the mirror away but I do get a top and bottom for the first 2 pics and a Pat Brady link.
Pete S Posted July 2, 2008 Posted July 2, 2008 Ok I will put the mirror away but I do get a top and bottom for the first 2 pics and a Pat Brady link. I'm just seeing 2 pics next to one another and no link. The one on the right also has the date scrawled on it.
Guest Posted July 2, 2008 Posted July 2, 2008 Looks real to me,one styrene one vinyl(multi-coloured) looks too tidy for a boot, but if i seen one i would be insisting it was dodgy and only worth a tenner.
Guest Posted July 2, 2008 Posted July 2, 2008 It's like reading a Laurel & Hardy script! The first two from POPSIKE are BOOTLEGS. The multi-coloured one on the LEFT is an ORIGINAL! THE white label with the date on the RIGHT is also an ORIGINAL! as you rightly say the bootlegs have a wider deadwax! Hope that clears the mist a little..
mischief Posted July 2, 2008 Posted July 2, 2008 Can I ask why there is a sound clip from "Spencer, My Babys Comin' Home, Midtown " on here?

The white one on the left, bootleg, meaning the white one on the right, original. Edited July 2, 2008 by Pete S

Ady Potts Posted July 2, 2008 Posted July 2, 2008 Can I ask why there is a sound clip from "Spencer, My Babys Comin' Home, Midtown " on here? It's so we've got a bit of music while we look at the pictures mischief
Guest Posted July 2, 2008 Posted July 2, 2008 I told him that earlier. The white one on the left, bootleg, meaning the white one on the right, original. Looks like a bit of misunderstanding there, I think John thought you ment the Multi-colour on the left was a boot on the second set of pictures, but you were refering to the first set of pictures.
Koolkat Posted July 2, 2008 Posted July 2, 2008 Made my night reading this gobble de gook. Brilliant.
Prophonics 2029 Posted July 2, 2008 Author Posted July 2, 2008 Can I ask why there is a sound clip from "Spencer, My Babys Comin' Home, Midtown " on here? I like it and it was a chance to post it up to kill time, something to listen to while I waited for a reply.
Prophonics 2029 Posted July 2, 2008 Author Posted July 2, 2008 (edited) So the white one on the left of the white one on the right is a boot right, but the left one on the right of the left is a bootleg with a bigger margin. Then the originals that are posted below with the multi colour on the left and the white on the right are right. But I do see them as top and bottom. Edited July 2, 2008 by Prophonics 2029
