Everyone should try to use this section ESPECIALLY now as evil ebay are FORCING sellers to offer paypal as a payment option (and thus increasing their charges by 4%in the process),whilst this is often a very convenient option on overseas purchases it seems very wrong to try to force it on people as a payment option.

In other countries ebay are now forcing sellers to only accept paypal, no chqs or bank transfers etc are allowed and indeed in Australia this action is being challenged by Australian Competition and Consumer Commission who view this as a denial and restriction of customer choice as well as lessening competion in the online payment market.

How would we all react if our our monthly salary chq was only allowed to be paid into 1 specified bank ,who then kept 4% of it as a service charge??

I have a few spare copies and bits and pieces Ive been meaning to sort out,I will be putting them on here as soon as I get a minute to list them!!

MIKE it is not an unreasonale request to ask for a very small fee for the upkeep of the site based on the premise that more sales fly out of here then most places now except for the obvious exemptions! The content on this site gets better particulary refosoul etc but brings issue itself,by the way Mike do you use google adsense ?Another possible way of bringing revune to the site particulary if you get the site optimised in the meantime linking is a great idea!

thanks for views

one of long time aims of site is it to be self-supporting via advertising etc

and as such have no plans or wish to go down the "fee" route for sales or similar

idea of thread was just a shout really to highlight that people who feel that way inclined can help out by raising exposure

the site fees heading was just 'bait' for people to click on the thread
