Chalky
Anyone tell me where the best place/or dealer for Soul Cd's? T.I.A. David go onto Amazon, find the cd you want, then click on the (for example) 25 new and used. There's an american dealer, caiman-usa, I use him, Kent cds for example just over £8 and delivered within 5 days, cheap postage too. There's another US dealer in there too but I forget the name. mischief
How silly is that, you have to buy Kent CD's from the states because they are cheaper Link to comment Social source share

mischief
No i'm not ing... and i'm not having a go at anyone.. I just think its really bad, that a UK based record company can sell CD's cheaper in the US than they can here... I know its probably tax.. Before I moan anymore are Kent cd's made in the UK? Pete S
David I've got around 150 northern soul cd's for sale, nearly all are brand new, they are £5 each across the board, if you or anyone else wants a list, let me know. Save yourselves a fortune when a lot of them retail at over a tenner. Link to comment Social source share

Guest TONY ROUNCE
oh thats alright then... i'll be quite, cause for a minute I thought if they was made here in the UK then shiped out to the US and then flown back and the CD's were still cheaper than buying them in the UK, well its not right is it.. It's certainly not Ace/Kent's fault that Caiman sells things cheaply - all CDs have a standard dealer price, and if Caiman wants to make its money by selling more copies at not much more than dealer price than they would at, say £14.99 (which is an approximate suggested retail price based on an 'industry standard' sort of profit margin) , then that's their lookout. They don't get to buy things any cheaper than, say, HMV just because they're Caiman. For what it's worth, all Ace/Kent CDs are made in the EU, and mostly in the UK. Davemac3
I find HMV.com as good as anywhere, Kent CDs are reasonable, I think about £8.99 with free postage and I think £7.99 when first released. O/T rednose is that picture Alan Birch? Not a Spireite are you? Link to comment Social source share
Guest WPaulVanDyk
I do HMV online as they do some nice Northern CD's cheap and i don't just go for Kent i know some say they may have the best selection but i generally like any Northern soul cd and even SONY BMG have released some and not just typical releases of Northern tracks we all know. Goldsoul too and no doubt you can buy artist back catalogue albums on major labels that might contain Northern and Modern tracks especially if not found on your complation. There is a great Jackie Wilson cd out with pretty much a lot of hjs Northern and Modern tracks on it i would go for Link to comment Social source share
