Jim G Posted June 26, 2008 Posted June 26, 2008 just paid £18.55 for this on evilbay is that about right kev Seen it go for more than that, I nearly bid on also as I regret swapping it in 1975. Did buy the Isley Brothers on Starline though for £9.99, the one with Tell It's Just a Rumour etc. Bought it mew in 72 and sold it eons ago, glad to get one back!

Soul Shrews Posted June 27, 2008 Posted June 27, 2008 Sure I've seen it offered for as high as 50 quid and as low as 20 in the last year or so. I guess somewhere between is right Got one for 19 bucks from "Dusty Groove" last year, mintier than a polo.... I was well chuffed Cheers Paul
Craig W Posted June 27, 2008 Posted June 27, 2008 Bought mine off Dormston school summer fair in Sedgley in 1976 for 20p off the second hand stall. Great LP.
Guest Rich Posted June 27, 2008 Posted June 27, 2008 just paid £18.55 for this on evilbay is that about right kev if it's in decent nick I'd say you've done alright - a great LP. Me and our youth almost wore one of these out in the 70s - it just got hammered all the time as the collection was growing. 'Sibbo' - one of me dad's Jack Russell's finished it off in the end Keep telling mesen I need another.............
Guest Posted June 27, 2008 Posted June 27, 2008 There's another copy on ebay : Gloria Jones Love the cover : The picture shows the centre of the record, it looks strange, all the USA copies I have seen have a solid centre. Looks like someone has put a hole saw through the middle so it takes the large USA type centres!!
Guest mel brat Posted June 28, 2008 Posted June 28, 2008 The picture shows the centre of the record, it looks strange, all the USA copies I have seen have a solid centre. Looks like someone has put a hole saw through the middle so it takes the large USA type centres!! I think you're seeing rubbing around the label centre there, not the centre actually removed. There must have been box loads of this album around in the mid-70s, but everyone should own one - which is why they've probably all but disappeared nowadays! Classic Northern album and well worth it for "Come Go With Me" alone!
