Guest MattB Posted June 25, 2008 Posted June 25, 2008 Got a few records that are in need of a bit of a clean, anything you'd recommend, i've got a suede type flat brush but that does little but remove the light surface dirt. Thanks Matt
Pete S Posted June 25, 2008 Posted June 25, 2008 At the moment I use a 50/50 mixture of isopropyl alcohol and water - spray it on, leave it 30 seconds, wipe it round and play while the record is still wet.
Nick Hackett Posted June 25, 2008 Posted June 25, 2008 HMV sell bottles of record cleaning fluid and cleaning cloths, spray it on a couple of times both sides avoiding the label. Hold the 45 in your hand and rotate the cleaning cloth around 45. Seems to do the job for me.
Tim Smithers Posted June 25, 2008 Posted June 25, 2008 I find high grade sandpaper works especially well on Modern records
