Im looking for information on the above group, Iv had a seven on Stomptown Records titled "Hates getting stronger".Iv played it out to good response over the years but its never really had the exposure it should have had. Its a big booming voice over a funkyish backing, a bit rough round the edges but it does get into your head.

Does anyone know this tune?Has anyone else got it?Any info on the label.

cheers

Have to agree Bri, on one of your cds from years ago and never seen it or I would have bought it. Is it the same label as Duke & Leonard "Just do the best you can" Stomp town 101?

It's the same label as Duke & Leonard, the only other title I've ever seen on the label. I had one years ago from Garlic George as part of a typically elaborate trade, didn't think much of it at the time, but I'm sure I'd love it now. Sadly I sold it at a record fair in Birmingham, about 10 years ago.

Hi Gouch

God I spent hours (or could have been weeks you know how fast time goes when you enjoying yourself!) Looking for info on the Stomp Town label and came up with very little.

I put a topic on S/S with no luck, take a look at the link.
