To be honest we're in utter shock at the final price. But there were 3 TOP DJs scrapping it out, plus a serious collector. it had a total of 54 bids, i'll have to check but i think that may be a record..no pun intended. Somebody told me Butch is playing it, if so it shows the power of the DJ. I bid on a copy on ebay about 3 years ago and it went for £75 which I thought was expensive!! When i played it a couple of years back it was " used to be played back in the day.40 quid tops". Quite right ,old Mecca tune.Everybody's got one. Top DJs maybe but obviously shite at finding records - what was wrong with any of the multitude of copies to have come up for sale in the past couple of years, then...too cheap at 30% that price? whats wrong with the top dj's finding summat else to play rather than everyone hammer one particular track to death as in this case the scene would be far better off and fresher with dj's playing different records, suppose thats a different arguement in a different topic though!
