Guest tonytone Posted June 9, 2008 Posted June 9, 2008 I recentley, bought this record (you better believe it baby, by joe tex) on Dial, with original paper "atlantic" sleeve, but i want to know is this the real deal? it's a black label with red half moon at top with white dial lettering, and a pic of a sun dial above it! the A side "being I beieve I can make it" is this he real macoy? Tony.

Guest Posted June 9, 2008 Posted June 9, 2008 (edited) It certainly was counterfeited as the red STOCK COPY counterfeit pointers are: Label looks perfect but the dead wax matrix is untidily scratched in, you can feel the rough edges of the matrix numbers with the tip of you finger. The Atlantic "AT" is so untidy it has TWO crosses on top cross of the "T" Edited June 9, 2008 by john manship
