Got it on Gambit, but never seen it on Vassar. Do have the same backing track on a different record out of Detroit though...and (as you may already have noticed yourself) this shares the same backing and parts in lyrics with Edward St. Ann on USA.

thank you for that Philippe

My pleasure, Gogs !

It's very easy to put a refosoul clip when you know how to do so, but without any explanation it's not evident. mellow.gif

Spent the last couple of hours trawling through google trying to find out anything about these records with no success, i found the gambit one listed for sale at anything between £9-£39 and the vassar one anything up to £30 but can't judge anything on this. I couldn't find out much about either label other than gambit do a lot of jazz cd's.

The only other thing was that i didn't come across any other records by Shayne Hunter nor could i find out anything about him.

Maybe i'm looking in the wrong places.

Pretty sure that John Manships guide has a couple of other records credited to him as "Shane" Hunter - one of which was also released under the name "The Mighty Shane" on Sue.

nothing on manship's or moerer's sites under the above names, but moerer does have both the vassar and gambit under shayne hunter.
