The above Jock Mitchell 45 is currently on ebay. I've heard this mentioned for years but have never seen one for sale or heard the record.

Has anyone here actually got one? If so can they comment on whether it's any good? Is it a Detroit production?

Looking at the credits it's clearly our man of Not A Chance In A Million fame, despite the Gainesville Florida address on the labels.

For me he's one of the great unknowns, his spine-tingling singing didn't make it on to record nearly enough.

TIA for any input,

gareth

fortune favours the brave you should have just baught it blind or contacted seller and asked for an mp3.

It was already in my watch list prior to seeing this post, I hope youre not planning to bid too much on it....

Hi Dylan

I'm out of the running on this one: an alright record but one for the completists really.

I can never get the ebay auction player to work with Safari for a Mac. Anyone got any tips?

I couldn't get this player to work either....

I find them very hit and miss about 60-70% work for me.

Ditto.

Apple Macs no chance.

PC's hit and miss.

I can get them to work on Apple Macs no problem if you click 'try internet explorer' below the player on the listing. Also depends if they have uploaded an mp3 file or not sometimes....

Below the player is usualy something that says "having trouble' or 'need help" If you click this, it will open in quicktime player, either in a seperate player, or in another window via plug-in. Works with my safari and opera.

BTW not seen a CHA-JOC label before, any one know if it is related to MAS-TOK and CHA-TOK?

I doubt this florida record is related to the detroit mas-tok / cha-tok.
