I've been handed a flyer for the St Ivo Reunion in November which is billed as the 35th Anniversary. Now on my reckoning this means the venue started in 1973. I wasn't around at the time but have read up and been told that the actual 'Nighter ran from 75 - 77. So could someone enlighten me as to what was going on prior to the All-Nighters, or have I got my dates wrong?

Thanks

So will he be getting his flyers reprinted then?

Mark C

PS.. it really didn't take Einstein to work out that if you subtract 1975 from 2008 it leaves 33 and frankly I find the "Well spotted you lot" a bit patronising.

Why would i need to patronise anybody?

It's the way you came across - we're not mugs and it's really obvious that 35 sounds better than...

BTW what happens next year - does it go back to being number 34?!!

Would probably say that its a genuine mistake, as the majority that will attend will have been regulars way back then.................so presume that they would know ?

cheers,

Fail to see any advantage from this mistake that only a very few would suggest is part of a conspiracy..It will be business as usual at the ST IVO. No one spotted he had left the admission price off .Comments on that are welcome too if anybody cares.

I think that the advance ticket price of £8 is reasonable when you consider Ian Clark is guesting, and the fact that a sum from the proceeds goes to Macmillan Nurses. At least I assume that's still the case..
