Hi Shute, how ya doing? I don't know about the Drifters' similarity, but I thought I'd mention that Bottom Line also got a UK release, on GTO.

I haven't got the US to make a comparison, but I'm fairly sure they're the same. Incidentally, I just noticed that the GTO says on the label it comes from an LP "Crazy dancin'" - never seen that.

Yeah , it says the same on the USA 45 -1976 recording on Greedy records

the flip side is called.... ''Disco Dobro'' from the same LP recording session

Like you say Nick, never seen the LP either !

Had one (LP) from Soul Bowl in 1976. Bought it blind just because it was on Greedy (I loved Donny Gerrard), however this was the best track. Album is long sold now. Later found that "That's The Way To Go" came out on US 12".

Never seen the album on UK label, but it's possible (for example, both the (Black)Smoke and Brenda & The Tabulations albums came out here on Casablanca, and I've only seen UK copies once - and that was back in 1977!)
