Guest Rob Glover Posted May 17, 2008 Posted May 17, 2008 All right you lovely people, here's a challenge for you. I was going through an old wants list of mine from way back around 1984/5 and I can across this tune that at the time used to drive me nuts cause I couldn't find out who it really was. The track was called "Girl Don't Cry" - The Del-Capri's. This was a cover up played by Keb Darge at the time. It was a real up-tempo number with a very bizarre haunting intro. To be honest I think it must have been a blue-eyed soul track in the same vein as The Lost Souls - "Secret Of Mine" I asked Keb a little while ago what it really was and he couldn't remember anything other than it was a white label with a pretty picture on it apparently Butch might remember cause he has a better memory of these things. Anyhow, does anybody remember it? Or know who it really was by. Has anybody got an MP3 they could let me have. Good luck!
