This Time With Feeling - Cleethorpes classic for Sam

Too many better versions of The Look On Your Face - this one sounds like it was recorded in a shed

We love both sides, just a titbit of trivia. When David Ruffin and Eddie Kendrick came over on the Temptations tour in 1991 they introduced the rest of the group with them and Nate Evans was a Temp, it caused quite a stir amoungst the folks that night in Donny !

he currently sings with a temptations revue in vegas.

He was really a recording member of the impressions throughout their cotillion period, though, he replaced Ralph Johnson who formed Mystique.

He is a bloody good singer live ! Is there any earlier relationship with the Temptations ?

where's mel brat when we need him? for me it's a st.ives tune! :-)

Agree a Massive St Ives sound, but most proberly played at different venues

up and down the country around the same time, allways thought St Ives and Cleethorps

played more or less the same tunes back in the day.

Chris says it's definately a CLEETHORPES tune, so there, :lol:tongue.gif having only been to the Mecca a few times, compared to Cleethorpes, it is where we heard it when we were young. but like others it depends on where you were when you first heard it, what we need to know is who first played it??

I've no doubt that it was premiered at Blackpool or Cleethorpes.

In 1977 I went almost exclusively to St. Ives, so it's normal that

I associate all these Mecca, Wigan, Cleethorpes monsters with that venue.
