Guest Harold Pelham Posted May 14, 2008 Posted May 14, 2008 Anybody know of Chicago Soul man Walter Thomas? Real Side Records are about to release the original version of "Hold On To The Blues" which was written and recorded by Walter long before Blues singer Lonne Givens had a hit with it on Real Side. Walter has spent years performing in Chicago night clubs but was more famously known as the opening act for The Drifters, Emotions, Floaters and Bette Wright. He also toured extensively with The Temptations and friends Of Distinction. The Real Side release is a double A side promotional 45 featuring the superb modern soul cut "I Wanna get Witcha" plus "Hold On To The Blues". You can buy a download of both tracks plus a bonus song, "So Long" from the Real Side web site. Got to www.realsiderecords.co.uk and click the 'downloads' link. https://realsiderecordsuk.ithinkmusic.com/my-store/index.php
