Guest in town Mikey Posted May 12, 2008 Posted May 12, 2008 Looking for a value on these please. This has 97699 scratched out on the B side. It also has stamps that to my aging eyes look like some kind of signature. I cant find a price for the W/D. The label has seen better days, but the vinyl is mint minus. And finally I was given some advice on here a while back, but none made any sense to me really. Is this the first issue? Can you tell from the scan? I appreciate any help given, Thanks Mike

Guest Bogue Posted May 12, 2008 Posted May 12, 2008 Love the Celestrals Noticed Thosten Wegners site sold one in a little bit better condition for 60 euros the other day. It was snapped up pretty quick though !
pikeys dog Posted May 12, 2008 Posted May 12, 2008 £40 for a Celestrals WD. Was re-issued in the 70s on the Orange label - but never seen a black label issue in the flesh.

Re: Glenda McLeod. If the edge is bevelled then it's the "second issue". If the edge is flat then it's the original first issue.
Guest in town Mikey Posted May 13, 2008 Posted May 13, 2008 Cheers for the tips. It seems like I probably have got the original then. I did buy it from a very reputable dealer at the Little Ann, Cleethorpes. So thats a relief. I wont be back in Dursley until the Berkley niter Dave, but I will bring it along with me then so you can have a check for me. Thanks. Any ideas on the E. Laskey value?
