Guest Posted May 14, 2008 Posted May 14, 2008 Fantastic record - a BIG personal fave from back in the Morecambe Pier days - sounds amazing all over again - boy, say what ya like about Rick James and his ensuing madness but that man could hold a tune - I'll always love this record... BUY BUY BUY...Mark Rez
Guest Posted May 15, 2008 Posted May 15, 2008 long time since ive heard this tune another 1 big at the pier S'funny - I don't recall ths one getting played there - but do ya remember how MASSIVE Harvey Mason's 'How's It Feel ' was there? My God - I nearly did meself a severe damage dancing to that one - definitely one of those tracks that just don't do it on the home stereo BUT sound amazing on a 'big' system...ahem well I remember the system @ Morecambe Pier was very tinny - and that's being kind...LOL.... Happy Dayz....Mark Rez

It's a 1980 release and came out as a 7" on GORDY 7185 with "Island Lady" on the flipside. Don't know if theres a US 12" but a UK 12" definitely exists. Both of them are extremely cheap (£2-£5). I think it's a great tune and I always get a good dancefloor reaction when I spin it.

Great tune like you say.... one of those that would get you out of your chair immediately on hearing the intro at 4.00am when "taking a break" and set you up for the next hour .... Actually.... thinking about it.... not one I've seen about for sale that often....
