wolfie66 Posted May 9, 2008 Author Posted May 9, 2008 Do you know Jay T Jones I don't Know About You. I didn't until I got a soundclip. Seems to ring a bell but I can't quite put my finger on..... Aah gotcha. Very nice track, though my knees are aching just listening to it, but not as damn soulful as the Butlers IMHO. A worthy addition to any collection (if someone, somewhere, happened to have one for sale ) Any more info on the two tracks - why same backing etc? Were they labelmates?

Don't think there was any label connection Jay is a Virtue pressed record the other Bell, but they are both from Philadelphia.

Yeah you can tell, chucked just about everything on the backing, you can see why they re-used it must have cost a fortune in musicians, tea & biscuits alone! How much would you pay for a Jay T, any idea?
