Don't think Brenda Lee Jones or Babies have been booted either.

Thx Andy - have we any ideas on value at all? (Not that I'm money-obsessed or anything :wicked: ) They're all in good nick, though played regularly 20+ years ago - stored since

Cheers again

I believe this was covered up years ago as 'Anne Perry - Stay away boys'. Miami based Deep City label. Doubt if it's been booted. Probably £80 ++......Oh and a great tune!!!

Styrene - brittle plastic with a label that you could peel off: vinyl - more flexible and you could not remove the label however hard you try. Also, on certain records you'll find something called a delta number - this is a triangle symbol followed by a 5 or 6 digit number. It's a way of dating records. The higher the number, the newer the record, so your Illusions probably carries a number beginning 100** in the run off meaning it was pressed in 1977. Whereas an original Brenda Lee Jones on Rust would have a number beginning say 66***. The Barbara English one sided is a boot, as are The Ellusions, Del Larks, Tomangoes 99% probabability, Ann Perry if it's pale green.

Cheers Pete - Tomangoes didn't snap on me and has a triangle shape followed by no:99524 as well as WM 3125 ST 372 932-1 Side #1. Oh and Ann Perry is the same light green as the tiles in my kitchen. All I can see on the Brenda Lee Jones though is IK4M5435 - - sad.gif Take it that's bad

Cheers again

Sweeping up, the above are all legit originals (the Brenda should be TK4M 5435), as are the Celestrials and Big Ella pictured.

The only one that may be a bootleg is the Superlatives, but there have been threads about this one...use the search option for more details about the blue and yellow label variants.

Nice one, cheers Flynny - that could've been worse as I had my doubts about The Ellusions track 'cos it only cost me a couple of quid. I've had a look on the Brenda Jones flip and you can clearly see it is a 'T' that side, and The Superlatives is a lightish blue - I'll have a rummage for the thread you mentioned. Would anyone be able to give me prices on these proper ones?

Thx again for your help

Hello again - just had a look at the thread and it seems pukka enough, I've got the same copy as "Debs" with the light blue un-lined label, an 'R' stamp with the line to the right of the number? Good job it's a good tune 'cos this is getting confusing!

Cheers Andy - and here's me thinking I'm gonna get a simple "Yay or Nay" on 'em. :D:D

What sort of condition would you people describe these if selling, as they've all been played, have a few inaudible surface scuffs, but all play beautifully? Is that EX? VG? G?

If I do decide to sell them I don't want anyoinie thinking I'm a chancer if I'm way out you know?

Cheers again
