Missing Link Posted April 29, 2008 Posted April 29, 2008 How about the 12" with Gentleman and their Lady 'Like Her' on the flip on US Roulette?
Codfromderby Posted April 29, 2008 Posted April 29, 2008 How about the 12" with Gentleman and their Lady 'Like Her' on the flip on US Roulette? how about that horrid bright pink p&p one, chucked a few away years ago, thought it was a dodgy boot ?, someone once said they had a uk pye 12", ? used to be a quid new release often played at "normal" disco clubs, good record though
Cover-up Posted April 30, 2008 Posted April 30, 2008 (edited) how about that horrid bright pink p&p one, chucked a few away years agoErr, that would be the original then... 12" is pretty sought after by the disco brigade, goes on for about 3 days. I'd have rated P&P single at £100, Roulette single and 12" at £50. The P&P version is a slightly different mix, less hi-hatty and extra vocals so sounds a bit more northern rather than disco - magnificent record. Is there another 45 by Four Below Zero (on P&P)? I heard a rumour there was, but never really chased it up... Edited April 30, 2008 by cover-up

Sebastian Posted April 30, 2008 Posted April 30, 2008 Is there another 45 by Four Below Zero (on P&P)? I heard a rumour there was, but never really chased it up... Yes there is. It's a great sweet soul ballad called "Tell Me Why (Can't We Be Friends)". Scan taken from the soulmusiccollector.com site can be found below. "My Baby's Got E.S.P." is one of the most fundamental tunes I've heard in my entire life. It affected me very seriously the first time I heard it and I haven't tired of it yet.
