Pat Sands (Of Pat Sands and The Pebbles), is retiring and her work colleagues would like to present her with a copy of her Sussex 45 framed alongside a picture of her and the band. The 45 is secured but we can't find a copy of a pic. If anyone has a pic of her or the band (maybe from an LP or something?), could they please get in touch?

Any help appreciated.

Hey Dave, I don't have a photo, but now that you are in contact with her, can you clarify whether the sussex group really is the same group as "sandy and the pebbles" on mercury? They sound very different and there aren't common names on the records. Thanks.

Hi Bob,

It's Bev who is touch with her, but I'll pass on the query and get back to you.

Meanwhile......anyone found a photo yet?

Bob,

Bev spoke to Pat and they are definitely not the same outfit. Pat said they only recorded the one 45. They opened a few times for the Delfonics in Philly but were poorly represented when the 45 was released and subsequently gave up the music industry. Pat is about to retire from working in a school in North Carolina.

Best,

Dave

PS. One more shout for a photo...ANYONE?

Thanks for the info. I will let you know if I see a photo anywhere.
