s7oul Posted July 19, 2008 Posted July 19, 2008 Full set now arrived I believe fellas Great compilations and hours of listening pleasure - the bar has been set very high for November. Pat
Chris Anderton Posted July 20, 2008 Author Posted July 20, 2008 You`re not wrong there Pat....both with the quality of the Cds and the presentation which was fantastic this time around. A big thanks to everyone who took part, brilliant to get 100% participation and shut the whingers up who did`nt take part because they were 2 Cds light last time! OK, November is the next one....themes anyone? How about records with labels are all the same colour?! or...."records you have never heard played out anywhere ever"? Thanks again. Chris.
ajb Posted July 22, 2008 Posted July 22, 2008 "records you have never heard played out anywhere ever" thats an easy one, if like me you don't go out alot might be a bit harder for some of you. unless you sending it to me, as i wouldn't have a clue if it was played anywhere as this one's been so good, could we do VOL. II or, beats to get bums off seats or, toe tapping tunes alan
Wrongcrowd Posted July 22, 2008 Posted July 22, 2008 OK, November is the next one....themes anyone? How about records with labels are all the same colour?! or...."records you have never heard played out anywhere ever"? Thanks again. Chris. If we're doing tunes from the same colour label, then we'll need to invite Dave "Posh "Car" Bentley who pioneered yellow label collecting at TOTW......and bagged plenty of great tunes on his theory....
Chris Anderton Posted July 22, 2008 Author Posted July 22, 2008 Surely Red has got to be the best colour Cliff!? I know Carl organises his sales box by colour of the label...says everything you need to know about Mr Fortnum really! Chris
John Reed Posted October 22, 2008 Posted October 22, 2008 It's been a crappy year and we all need cheering up and its been 6 months since the last Swap. Chris, fancy being point person again?
Guest biggray1 Posted October 23, 2008 Posted October 23, 2008 I'm up for it..so wot theme then...waiting in anticipation!
