Guest Trevski Posted April 27, 2008 Posted April 27, 2008 (edited) Just noticed "Keep an eye on love" as a soundtrack on a new Clarks ad. Googled it and its a cover by Zeep. Memory fails me, but wasn't it Ernestine Anderson on Sue? Original soundclip anyone? Edited April 27, 2008 by Trevski

Guest Trevski Posted April 27, 2008 Posted April 27, 2008 (edited) Found it think its her, she was that girl who sang Underwater Love err Smoke City. Sonds the same. She's called Nina Miranda. Clip here-  https://hypem.com/track/481778 not as good as Ernastine, but very creditworthy, pleasant summer listening! Edited April 28, 2008 by Trevski
Prophonics 2029 Posted April 27, 2008 Posted April 27, 2008 (edited) 40 years on you wouldn't want an identical version and from a 32 second sound clip I cant give it marks out of 10, some of the stuff on the CD is really cool think I will get a copy and give it a go a pleasing surprise (from the mainstream PC emulator formulated digitally churned out junk) to hear real musicians ok they have used a Prophet 5 but who really cares. Macke Posted April 28, 2008 Posted April 28, 2008 (edited) A song a fellow soulsourcer often plays out, and guess what, Nina Miranda is his sister! She really loved the song when he played it to her. Her version is really really good, i was pleasantly surprised when i heard it. The whole CD is great jazzy stuff. Well worth a listen. I'm glad for her that she gets her music out like this, she truly deserves it. Just been blessed with a second child as well Edited April 28, 2008 by Macke

Yes, my Sister & the band Zeep recorded their album on good old fashioned tape in Brazil. the Brazilian musicians they worked with really liked the track & she wrote a last verse in Portuguese. It's the only cover on the lp (& well chosen IMHO) for any fans of the Rio sound i recommend the track "Baby" from the same lp. A.
Guest Trevski Posted April 28, 2008 Posted April 28, 2008 (edited) are those two different versions?? sound the same to me they are! The Zeep version is on this link, the player on the page is bottom left or try the second one for an MP3 https://hypem.com/track/481778 https://aurgasm.us/2008/02/zeep/ Edited April 28, 2008 by Trevski
