Just wondering if Janice Sadler and the Jammers / My baby coming home to stay gets played out much ?

Had my demo around 30 years, Its got better with age, but its not my cup of tea, so i might put it in trades or swaps.

I do indeed. Personally i love it, very nice mid tempo harmony and a bit unusual. Definately needs more plays out.

Hiya Mark

I also have an issue (and a demo for good luck) and yes, we still play it at The Orwell

Totally brilliant 70's dancer that as we can see from the thread has supporters up and down the country!

Respect MUST go to Ian Levine on this (whatever you think of him)..........a Mecca spin of his from many years ago that he also kept faith in when he returned to the scene a few years ago!

Cheers

Bought mine from Steve Glover C.1975. Have always liked it, and I'm glad to see I'm not alone! (Have never seen an issue copy though, but I assume they're styrene copies?

Have another by her on De-Lite, and I read somewhere (Black Music mag I think) that she is the same 'Janice' of "I Told You So" fame on Fantasy!

Issue feels like vinyl to me, very light and thin.

Thanks. Yup, that's vinyl alright. Probably because it's an early issue on the label? Reggie Sadler had a popular 'Sweet Soul' side on De-Lite too. I have it on a compilation CD.

Hi Mark

After you turned an issue up i went-a-hunting cos i presumed it was never issued until you got one! I thankfully turned one up not long after. Yes, it has long taken the place of my demo in the play box :shades:

For the record my issue is on vinyl

Cheers

Steve
