Sean Hampsey Posted April 23, 2008 Posted April 23, 2008 I thought members might like to see my small, but beautifully formed, collection of Soul Spam. I've only been collecting for a little over a year, but I think you'll agree, the collection already boasts some pretty impressive titles/artists, culminating in the 'Holy Grail' an Andrea Henry, which arrived this week! I check my mailbox every day, waiting for those elusive wants to come through (hey... don't we all!). Mostly I'm dissapointed, but the 'Andrea' made the waiting all worthwhile! Anybody else got a 'virtual' collection as impressive as mine? Sean Note: Every one is 100% Genuine. No Counterfeits!

Sean Hampsey Posted April 23, 2008 Author Posted April 23, 2008 that tickle me, that did !! Hi Fingers. A couple of people contacted me and thought this was a wind up, but, its totally kosha! About a year ago, Pete Smith suggested some pretty good names for cover ups could be found by checking your SPAM. So, lo & behold, I checked mine and found Larry Santos (whoever he is - ie if he's a real person in SPAMSVILLE) had spammed me. I kept an eye out for anything else, remotely Soul related, ever since - hence the mis spelt Earl Randle, which I thought was near enough for inclusion - and that's the collection thus far. Sadly, I don't have a Little Richard... but I am expecting a Freddie Chavez anytime soon!
Rob Wigley Posted April 24, 2008 Posted April 24, 2008 I'm on "auto-delete" what have I been missing !!
Sean Hampsey Posted April 24, 2008 Author Posted April 24, 2008 I'm on "auto-delete" what have I been missing !! A whole new world in collecting, Rob. It's the future! Rumours abound that Martin Barnfather is even thinking of changing his name to Soul Spam! Sean
kathdj Posted April 26, 2008 Posted April 26, 2008 I think these spam people have an auto-name-generator - you spin the wheels and it comes up with a ludicrous combination. It's the same machine George Lucas uses for his Starwars characters. Gaspard Kilcrease; Ayame Jiggetts; Chadwick Dowdy and Bobby Flurry (both country & western obviously), Swapnil Essary; Jaffer Quach; Wenceslaus Groat; Topsy Herod. Some are just offspring of a clearly very disturbed holiday romance: Cuauhtemoc Littlejohn; Amenhotep Ellis; Babjide Minch Clearly some soulies/blues singers Leta Guy; Bradford Grubbs; Pearlie Staples; Nestor Witherspoon; Melba Huff; Orville Washburn Don't ask how I know these . . . . .
