Jellybean Posted April 17, 2008 Posted April 17, 2008 (edited) I do own a copy of this but i much prefer the flip side and mine dosen,t always play through, it skips right towards the end sometimes. Shame cos it plays perfect up until then and its made me wary of playing it when i DJ! So has anyone got a copy please? Even if the A side is unplayable but the flip side plays mint i,ll have it! At the right price of course JB xxxKTFxxx Edited April 17, 2008 by JELLYBEAN

Wonder if its a factory fault? anyone else got the same fault on theirs?? Jock. Got me thinkin here, I had a copy on Original orange which i bought for "girl " side When i played it,it too jumped near the end ??? I then decided to buy one of the cheap "trans records" yellow copies and put it nxt to the real one in my box to appease the "soul police" To my amazement(annoyance) it too jumped To conclude i would have to say ,there is a possible pressing fault, as both copies were almost mint. I did however manage to get round the problem by reducing the weight on the arm of the stylus. It played thru on both copies, no probs. So J B, before you go spending your dosh ,give it a try Fingers crossed Nev

John Benson Posted April 18, 2008 Posted April 18, 2008 Odd them jumping like that! I used to have a Yellow boot copy back in the early 70's which played perfect on both sides (Always liked 'Girl..' even then) Than picked up a proper Yellow issue from Soul Bowl around '77 - which I still own and that also plays pefectly well on both sides also!
Jellybean Posted April 19, 2008 Author Posted April 19, 2008 Not quite same song though is it??but tis a nice choon Recently on Chris Anderton's list for £25 i think I missed a copy of the Olympics just the other day! It went for 99p JB xxxKTFxxx
Sunnysoul Posted April 19, 2008 Posted April 19, 2008 (edited) The Olympics and Bob Relf ARE the SAME tune ... they just happen to be different versions with different backing tracks and slightly different titles ... but they ARE most definitely one and the SAME tune.
