Sharlow45 Posted April 13, 2008 Posted April 13, 2008 Picked this record up yesterday: Barbara & Gwen - Just the Two Of Us/I Love My Man - New Chicago Sound NCS-6921 Anybody familiar with it? Google search doesn't turn up much. A-side is midtempo danceable. B-side is an excellent deep soul ballad. Scott
Sharlow45 Posted April 13, 2008 Author Posted April 13, 2008 Here's a scan too: I'll put up a soundclip too if anybody's interested.
Guest lotusland Posted April 13, 2008 Posted April 13, 2008 I bought one of these mint for $15 off ebay a few years ago. It had a yellow label, though. It's nice.

It is hard than "right out" but not as good in my opinion. Doesn't really go for anything. You know that barbara is from the duettes / barbara and the uniques, right? THanks.

And yeah, I had picked up on the Duettes connection from Soulful Kinda Music. Oh, I listened to your best of the year radio show last week dude.....some great stuff in there. Enjoyed it. Hi Andy!
