Pauldonnelly Posted April 11, 2008 Posted April 11, 2008 (edited) I'm always interested to read threads about where records were played for the first time and who played em first etc, so could anyone with 'the knowledge' help me out? Ive recently purchased a record from Mike Bolderson on Capitol by the Enjoyables- Push a little harder, which the more I play it the more I really like it, up until Mike put his last sale list out I'm am sure I'd never heard it before which suggests that it was played big time between 76 and 86. or was it? Ive been to a few venues since 1988 and I'd never heard it, must have been in the bog. any help with how this piece of top notch northern missed my ears would be appreciated, I have this vison of it coming out of the Casino speakers. https://www.soulclub.org/stream/The_Enjoyab...ttle_Harder.ram Edited April 11, 2008 by PaulDonnelly
TheBigO Posted April 11, 2008 Posted April 11, 2008 Certainly spun in the mid 80's at Stafford as went straight on my wants list Paul but not sure if it was spun prior to that at any major venues. I wait to find out along with you. By the way still a cracking toon!

Best ,Eddie see I might be a doddery old phart but give me a top tune I can normally work out when it was played first, give or take ten years... thanks guys...it is one hell of a record.
Anoraks Corner Posted April 12, 2008 Posted April 12, 2008 it is one hell of a record. Totally agree with you Paul. Superb harmonies....amazing instruMENTAL break...in fact sooooo good that I only recently (after many years of owning/listening to it!) actually statred to listen/appreciate the lyrics! Oh!
